Thiruvananthapuram: The Sabarimala temple will open for the Vishu festival at 5.30 p.m. on April 10.

The Vishu festival is on April 15. The shrine will be open at 4 a.m. that day and the devotees can have `Vishukani Darshan’ till 6 a.m. It will be followed by Neyyabhishekam. Arrangements for Vishukani will be made at Malikappuram and the Pampa Ganapathy temples too.

The Tantri and the melsanthis will distribute vishu kaineettam. The shrine will close after the festival at 10 p.m. on April 18.

All the usual rituals will be performed from April 11 to 18.

A special `Padi pooja’ will be performed on all days except April 14 and `Udayasthamana pooja’ on all days except April 15.
